Yumeng Chen

I am a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. I received my M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University and my B.S. from Capital Medical University. My current research focuses on photoacoustic microscopy for biomedical imaging. I am particularly interested in integrating hardware, software, and programming, as well as exploring the mechanisms and clinical applications of imaging devices. I hope to develop practical technologies for disease detection and monitoring, particularly for breast cancer imaging. Outside the lab, I enjoy working out, rock climbing, distance running and marathons, exploring new foods, and cooking.
